Barn Conversion & New Cart Lodge
Finchingfield.
This is a small 1 bedroom annex which was converted from an old barn and what a little beauty. We managed to keep all of the original beams adding in modern green oak where required.
The cart lodge was built from scratch and consists of, two open bays, two closed bays, a ground floor gym with wetroom and a huge games room above boasting breath taking views from it Juliet balcony.
Stable Block. Little Dunmow
Consisting of four stables, hay barn and a fully fitted tack room, it makes the prefect set up for our clients passion for horses. Constructed from scratch, ensuring this was a bespoke setup for the clients requirements.
Renovation.
Little Easton
Situated in the lovely village of Little Easton is this little gem. This bungalow was in a very sorry state and underwent a full renovation. Unrecognisable to what it once was.
Barn Conversion
The Essex Barn, Little Canfield.
This beautiful barn was stripped back to its skeleton oak frame. We have done many barn conversions, but this had some amazing beams and character. Although building regulations insist on using modern replacement materials, we managed to keep as much character as possible, ensuring every element was in keeping with its original structure.
Stables and menarge. Pleshey,
Consisting of six generous stables, tack room, hay room, grooms accommodation above and a menarge this is very much the luxury equine setup. Again all built from scratch these are totally bespoke and build to our clients exact requirements.
Garden Room. Hempstead,Saffron Walden
To add to an already beautiful thatched cottage we built this delightful garden room. Built from green oak this was hand cut by our carpenters.
Incorporating a vaulted ceiling with exposed timbers, oak floors with underfloor heating and bespoke book shelves, this is the place to unwind.
Swimming pool. Hempstead, Saffron Walden
Not just your average pool this is a heated salt water pool. Incorporating a wave machine, hidden electric safety cover and a 12foot deep end. Construction of a swimming pool is extremely hard work however the end result is very rewarding. The beautiful tiles where imported from Italy especially for this pool and laid by our talented tiller.

Originally built around 100 years ago this property is full of character. After a full renovation, rear extension, loft conversion and garage it now stands as the dream home our clients dreamt of. From wet rooms and boot rooms to bespoke dressing rooms and larders we met every expectation of our clients requirements.

This extension was added to a beautiful thatched cottage in Finchingfield incorporating a vaulted ceiling in the kitchen with exposed new green oak timbers, fully tiled floors with underfloor heating, dressing room with bespoke built wardrobes which leads onto a lovely ensuite shower room. Being well known for our pargeting over the years we have many of the moulds, but to match up with the existing on this cottage required a slightly different style so we carved exact replicas in our joinery shop and the result is a superb match.
War Memorial Little Easton
After being open to the elements for many years, the war memorial in little Easton was starting to look very tired. After meetings with the Parish Council we demolished the wall and rebuilt in a natural stone block. Prior to this the memorial was taken down carefully by us and we rebuilt in a similar brick using lime mortar. All of the original plaques where cleaned and reinstalled.
What a lovely job this was in our local village.

Completed to a very high standard is this twin rear extension with garden room below, constructed in face brickwork to match the existing property. To compliment a triple garage with room above, new blockpaved driveway and composite decking.

Built in face brickwork to match the existing property is this nice little porch. Slate pitched roof and modern composite front door. A nice addition to the family home.

Bathroom refit.
The old dated bathroom was stripped out. Underfloor heating was fitted, timber paneling, all sanitary ware and tiling. Toilet cistern was boxed in and oak top made in our workshop. A lovely addition to a beautiful farm house.
Great Dunmow, Essex 2019
A single storey rear extension and internal alterations. Consisting of internal walls removed, oak flooring throughout and a new kitchen. Creating a beautiful light open plan living area.
